WASHINGTON -- The Senate Judiciary Committee, with help from former federal prosecutor Rudolph Giuliani, moved Wednesday to convene investigative hearings next week into the presidential pardon Bill Clinton gave billionaire fugitive financier Marc Rich on Clinton's last day in the White House.

Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., Wednesday disclosed the hearings, set for next Wednesday before the full Judiciary Committee chaired by Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah.
